Gemius certified for data security
In February, Gemius’ data security management systems were certified as compliant with ISO 27001:2013. This means that information from all markets on which Gemius analyses network traffic are processed in accordance with the international standard for security of information. The certificate has a validity of three years.
The certificate was awarded to Gemius headquarters, where data from over 30 countries in which the company does campaign measurement and adserving. The audit was conducted by an accredited independent certification company.

ISO 27001:2013 is the international standard developed for information security management. It determines 14 areas which are subject to external inspection. These include development and maintenance of IT systems, access control, system and network management, security policy and human resources security. The norm also relates to company policy planning and mode of operation, but also implementation, monitoring and improvement.
